Hawken Student-Athletes Named Champions and Runners-Up at State Meets
Congratulations to the girls swim team on being named state runner-up at the state championship meet! Special kudos go to Sarah Pophal '24 for winning her second consecutive individual state title in dramatic fashion, after trailing most of the race and crushing the last 100 yards.
The boys swim team placed ninth in the state. A highlight was the boys 400 FR; they placed third in the state from lane one and the 7th seed!
Congratulations are also in order for Will Greenberg '25, who was named state runner-up at the state wrestling tournament!
