Hawks Shine at Chinese Speech and Essay Contest

Organized by The Confucius Institutes at both Cleveland State and University of Akron as well as The Ohio Association of Teachers of Chinese, the Fifth Annual Chinese Speech and Essay Contest welcomes participants from throughout the state of Ohio.
 
This year, Hawken students brought home 9 of the 11 top prizes awarded.

To participate in the competition, students composed an essay or presented a speech in Chinese on a selected topic and were judged by experienced Chinese language teachers. Congratulations to the following students on their success in the competition!
