Junior Named Runner-Up in Stop the Hate Contest

Congratulations to Courtney Reed '18 for being named a finalist in the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage annual Stop the Hate Youth Speak Out competition.

Students entering the competition were asked to respond in a personal way to words from Elie Wiesel, Holocaust survivor and human rights activist: "No human race is superior; no religious faith is inferior. All collective judgements are wrong. Only racists make them."

In addition to winning a $10,000 scholarship, Courtney was a guest on NPR. Listen to the NPR recording here.
