Junior Wins Grant for Proposal Based on STEMM Project
Based on his research for his Hawken STEMM project at NASA this past summer, Brian Sun ’18, along with some other students, developed a research proposal and won the 2016 Ken Souza Memorial Research Competition, organized by Blue Origin and the Board of the American Society for Gravitational and Space Research (ASGSR).
Their proposed experiment will be carried out on a NanoLab flight on Blue Origin’s New Shepard space vehicle next summer, and Brian will be invited to present the findings at the annual meeting of ASGSR in Seattle next fall.
