Relay for Life Raises Funds and Spirits
Hawken’s 9th annual Relay for Life event took place on Friday, April 15 at the lawn at Legacy Village.
This year, Hawken teamed up with Beachwood High School and Laurel School in the fight against cancer. Hawken was well represented by students and faculty throughout the evening, and the event raised over $14,000 to fight cancer.
Hawken student performers included the Gerace Brothers (Michael ’16, Andrew ‘18, and Christopher ’22), Maddie Fawcett-Dubow ‘17, Jane Wiertel ‘18, and Modal Soul (Brandon Solomon ‘16, John Antolik ‘16, Nick Buchanan ‘17, Cameron Russell ‘18, Mitchell Maly ‘16, and Becky Maly ‘19)
