Memorial Service Set for Larry Nelson
A memorial Service for beloved faculty member Larry Nelson will be held
Saturday August 15 at 11am at the Federated Church in Chagrin Falls.

For 37 years (1969 – 2006), Larry taught English to decades of Hawken students.
When not in the classroom, Larry could be found on the stage taking part in Hawken Players’ Society productions and talent shows. Larry was one of the first faculty members freshmen and new faculty would meet during August orientation as he took great pride in sharing the history of the Gates Mills/Circle W campus with the Hawken community. Others will remember Larry’s wonderful speech which he gave at the 2006 Cum Laude ceremony.
