Hawken Appoints Director of College Counseling

Renee has a strong background in the college admission process, having served as both a college admission officer and a high school counselor. She graduated from Carleton College with a B.A. in Political Philosophy, and an M.B.A. in Operations Management from DePaul University. Most recently she was the Associate Director of College Counseling and 12th Grade Dean at Polytechnic School in Pasadena. She also served as Associate Director of Admission at Northwestern’s Graduate School, Director of Admission Operations at DePaul University, Associate Director of Admission at Lake Forest College, and Assistant Dean of Admission at Carleton.

Renee joined Hawken in July 2010 as Associate Director of College Counseling. She stepped in as Interim Director of College Counseling late last spring.
