Hawken Celebrates Record Enrollment of 1,011
As Hawken begins its centennial year, the School is thrilled to welcome 191 new students and their families to our community.
These new Hawks join an incredible group of returning students for a record enrollment of 1,011 students in grades Preschool-12; the 4th consecutive year that Hawken's enrollment has exceeded records.
Increases occurred on both campuses, with heaviest growth in the Early Childhood program where a 4th section of Preschool and a 3rd section of Prekindergarten were added. The School welcomed additional faculty to accommodate this growth in enrollment and to maintain Hawken's low student-teacher ratio.

With the second week of classes well underway, fanciful creations from our Early Childhood students are already appearing in in the Nido; Lower School students are learning classroom routines; Middle School students are off on their grade level retreats; and at the Upper School, the rotation schedule is underway, with fall athletic teams in full swing and a student run production of the play, Proof, debuting to rave reviews last weekend.
