Girls Golf Are State Champs!
Girls Golf won the state title Saturday at the OHSAA's 6th Annual Girls Division II Golf Championships held at the Ohio State University Golf Course.
Girls Golf won the state title Saturday at the OHSAA's 6th Annual Girls Division II Golf Championships held at the Ohio State University Golf Course.
Girls golf started at Hawken in 2004. In the past two years, the team finished 5th and 4th place respectively in the state tournament. This year the team went into the state competition with their eyes on the prize.
"This is an unbelievable experience," caoch Debby Horowitz said in an interview for cleveland.com. "To represent our school with a state title is so great. These girls have worked so hard and to have that pay off with this title is excellent. We’ve been working toward this for three years and it’s great to finally be here."
