Hawken’s football team has been getting some well deserved press as the 2013 season begins.
Game play begins Friday, August 30 as the Hawks take on WRA under the lights of Walton Stadium. Read the News-Herald Hawken 2013 season preview.
Coach Walton was featured in a News-Herald article about the area’s longest tenured coaches. “His three-plus decades of work at Hawken far and away qualify him for the dean of News-Herald area football coaches,” says reporter John Kampf.
Also, senior player Khari Anderson was named to the 2013 preseason Tony Fisher Award Watch List.
