Excellence Celebrated at Upper School Awards Day

Hawken saluted the exceptional accomplishments of Upper School students on Friday, May 31. Awards were presented in math, science, English, the arts and more. This year's prestigious Charles B. Bolton Award was awarded to Isabella Todaro.
The Bolton Award, which was first given in 1977, is among the most highly anticipated honors a senior can receive and is bestowed upon a Hawken student who excels in all aspects of education and in so doing has truly lived up to the Hawken motto: "That each generation introduce its successor to a higher plane of life." Presenting the awards was Matthew Salerno '92, President of the Alumni Association.
