Girls Swim Team First in State, Boys Third!

Hawken's girls swim team won their 15th straight Division II state championship yesterday, their 23rd state title overall. The boys swim team finished an impressive 3rd at the meet, behind 2nd place University School and ahead of 4th place Chagrin.

The girls won the 200-yard freestyle relay with a state record, and also won the 400 freestyle, narrowly missing their own state record set last year. The boys had their best finish in the 400 free relay since 1989.
