Kindergarten Search Ends at Head's Office
In a long standing tradition, kindergarten classes followed their reading of the gingerbread man fable with baking their own gingerbread cookie.

This morning they arrived at school prepared to decorate their creation, only to find that their gingerbread man had run away! They spent the rest of the day in an exercise of inquiry and investigation as they followed scavenger hunt clues in search of the lost dough boy.
The hunt ended with finding the gingerbread man in the Head of School’s office at Gates Mills. Mr. Looney was unaware that the gingerbread man had been hiding under his couch. Had he known, he might have eaten it, he said.
