Hawken Mourns Passing of Coach Moore
Hawken School shares the sad news that Coach Moore passed away yesterday. Coach Moore was Head Varsity Girls Lacrosse Coach for 10 years at Hawken and served as Assistant Field Hockey coach during the 2011 -12 academic year. Under his guidance, Hawken’s lacrosse team was a perennial state-ranked power. He was an excellent teacher of the game, committed to his players and his program, and a man who deeply understood the value of education-based athletics. He was also a great friend and colleague, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
