Ms. Libbey Named Semi-Finalist for Facing History Award

Eighth grade teacher Garet Libbey has been named one of 20 semi-finalists (out of 700 nominations worldwide!) for the Facing History and Ourselves' Upstander award.
The Upstander campaign recognizes outstanding educators who promote justice and equality through their work. The winner will receive a $5,000 grant to benefit their school or community. Simply being a semi-finalist is a huge honor for both Garet and Hawken School, but it will be an even greater honor if she advances to finalist or winner. To do that, Garet needs our votes.
