Entrepreneurial Studies, Athletics Welcome New Administrators

Hawken welcomes two new administrators this fall.

Natasha Chornesky, Director of Entreprenerial Studies, has been both an educator and entrepreneur. Most recently, she taught English to at-risk urban eighth graders at Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy in Las Vegas. She earned a BA in English from the University of Massachusetts (Amherst), an MA in American Leadership: Administration, Planning and Social Policy, and an EdM in Organizational Leadership from Harvard. This year, Natasha will teach entrepreneurship at the Upper School and develop a semester-long course in entrepreneurial studies that she will teach beginning next year at the Gries Center.

Seth Lieberman, Associate Director of Athletics (Lyndhurst Campus), comes to Hawken from St. Mary's School in Raleigh, NC. In addition to athletic administration, he brings a wide collection of experiences including coaching, summer camp leadership, officiating, and teaching. Seth earned a BA in geography and sociology from Clark University and a MEd in Athletic Administration/Physical Education from Springfield College. In his spare time, Seth enjoys staying active and rooting for his beloved New York sports teams, attending concerts (especially Springsteen) and traveling in the US and abroad.
