Summer Interns Work for the Arts

Sam Weil '13, Langston Burton '15, Emma Link '14 and Cache McClay '13 spent their summer working for Artworks of Young Audiences of Greater Cleveland. The Artworks program provides "opportunities for students to earn a wage, gain valuable workforce skills, prepare for higher education, and have fun working in an art form of their choice."

Sam and Langston worked at the Tri-C recording studio; Cache participated in the Tri-C Metro's dance co-op.  The three students, part of 72 students who worked at the Tri-C site, will be sharing their works at the Tri-C Metro Main Theater Wednesday, August 1, at 6pm.  Admission is free and parking is available in Lot 5.

Emma and 77 other students who participated in the Halle Building Project will be sharing their experience at a poetry slam Saturday, August 5 from 6:15pm to 6:45pm in Tremont's Lincoln Park as part of the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival.
