Academic Challenge Teams Victorious
On Saturday, January 28, the Hawken Academic Challenge team travelled to Lodi, Ohio for the Cloverleaf Invitational Academic Challenge Tournament. Competing in a bracket with seven other Ohio Regional Tournament Qualifiers, The Hawken A team consisting of seniors Eric Xiao, Jonathan Meckler, Adil Menon, and Ani Dasarathy won with a record of 7–0. As a measure of the strength of the competition, two of those wins were by only two points. This puts the A team currently at a dual match record of 30–0 in Saturday academic tournaments this school year.
The Hawken B team, consisting of Adam Charnas '12, Aaron Ekstein '12, Shang-Shang Chen '14, and Marty Zhu '14, also had a winning record in its bracket with a record of 4 – 3.
