Junior Takes First Place in Piano Competition
Congratulations to Shulamite Chu '12, who won first place at the Venetia Hall Piano Concerto Competition held recently at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio. The Ohio Federation of Music, organizer of the competition, awarded Shulamite a $600 scholarship for her performance of the first movement of Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 1 Op. 10 in D-Flat Major. She will be performing the same piece at the Upper School Spring Concert to be held on Wednesday night, May 5th at 7:30 p.m.
