Middle School Knowledge Master Results

The Hawken Middle School Knowledge Master team competed in April with 603 other Middle Schools from around the world. In a field where the mean score was 1148, Hawken Middle School scored 1422, placing our team in 59th place of the 604 teams worldwide and third in the state of Ohio. The team answered an amazing 91.5% of 200 questions in a field where the mean was 80%.

An even more telling statistic is the rating that compares schools of like size. Because Hawken Middle School has 208 students, the team was competing against schools that enroll between 201 and 500 students. Even though nearly all of the 102 schools worldwide in this category are far larger than Hawken Middle School, Hawken took seventh place among all schools worldwide in this size range.
