HAWKEN GIRLS WIN 13TH STRAIGHT STATE SWIM TITLE!
Hawken's girls swim team won their 13th consecutive state title on Saturday, February 26 at Branin Natatorium in Canton, tying the record for the most consecutive state championships in Ohio high school history in any sport. This makes the 21st state championship for the girls team. The girls set five state or meet records placing in every event, including diving. Sarah Kouchecki won an incredible four gold medals -- the maximum possible. Maddy Pesec '12 placed second at district diving and 12th in Division II state competition. A summary of results:

The Hawken boys finished 9th as a team - a great result and best finish as a team in many years. Sophomore Micah Simpson earned 3 medals -- 6th in the 200 Freestyle, 6th in the 500 Freestyle, and as part of the 6th place 200 Medley Relay. Additional results for the boys swim team were:
