Girls Swim Team Dominates Sectionals

The girls swim team won the Division II sectional meet held on Saturday at Holtrey Natatorium, scoring a total of 561 points and winning all three relay events and five of eight individual events.  Morgan Cohara '12 finished first in the 200 yard freestyle and second in the 100 freestyle; Sarah Koucheki '13 finished first in the 100 butterfuly and second in the 200 individual medley; Kaitlyn Cerne '13 finished second in the 100 butterfly; Carrie Bencic '13 finished first in the 500 freestyle; Jordan Bitterman '12 finished second in the 500; Marissa Cominelli '13 finished first in the 100 backstroke; and Lizzie Aronoff '12 finished first in the 100 breaststroke.  Go Hawks - and good luck at the district meet!
