Senior Earns Perfect Score on SAT
Hawken School senior Margret Erlendsdottir scored a perfect 2400 on her October SAT test: 800 on each of the math, verbal, and writing sections. Less than 0.02 percent of high school seniors who took the exam last year achieved a perfect score – that is, just 297 students out of 1.5 million. Data for this year won't be released until 2012.
In addition to being known for her academic prowess, Margret is an accomplished pianist. A student at the Cleveland Institute of Music, she is a member of the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra and made her debut with the Cleveland Orchestra last March. Margret is also a member of the Hawken School Integrity Council and is a National Merit Semifinalist.
