Hawks to Regional Championship; Markovich Wins District Title
Ally Markovich '13 won the district cross country title at Edgewater Park on Saturday with a time of 19:19, leading the Hawken girls cross country team to a third place finish and a regional championship meet birth. The Hawks scoring was completed by Mackenzie Harris '12 in 16th place, Jenny Satterfield '14 in 17th place, Taylor Pearl '11 in 26th place, Molly Liebeskind '12 in 39th place, and Yelena Chernysheva '13 in 63rd place. The Hawks will travel to Boardman High School in Youngstown on Saturday for the regional championship race at 1:20 p.m. Go Hawks!

Other Hawken finishers were Nick Wood '14 in 26th place, Dan Gens '11 in 30th place, Alex Wood '14 in 34th place, Seth Shill '11 in 38th place, Travis Salvati '11 in 40th place, and Adam Berry '13 in 45th place.
