Hawks Wrestle Their Way to Districts
The Hawken Wrestling team experienced great success at the Sectional Wrestling Tournament held at Beachwood High School. For the first time in Hawken history, we had three Sectional Champions in the same year: senior Eric Meisel (135 lb. bracket), sophomore Andrew Thomas (285 lb. bracket) and junior Mikey Baratz (130 lb. bracket). Sectional Placers from this year include: freshman Cory Roth (112 lbs., 5th place), freshman Hunter Moeller (103 lbs., 3rd place), Eric Meisel, junior Alex Harrison (119 lbs., 4th place), Andrew Thomas, Mikey Baratz , and sophomore Ben Austin ( 171 lbs., 6th place). Best of luck to Eric, Mikey, Andrew, Alex, and Hunter, who will be moving on to the District Tournament this weekend. Go Hawks!
