Community Celebrates Hawken at Alumni Luncheon

Hawken graduates, teachers and family members gathered on December 19 for the 83rd Annual Alumni Winter Luncheon. The afternoon of dining and bestowing honors began with an opportunity to socialize in the AC Lobby amidst a backdrop of student art. Following greetings from Head of School Scott Looney and Alumni Board president Susi Yarus Meisel `78, several alumni were presented with awards: Henri Pell Junod, Jr. `59 was presented the Carl N. Holmes Award by Randall Almirall `59; Martin C. Schulz `82 was presented the Richard W. Day Award by faculty emeritus James Gross; and Blair K. Haas `72 was presented the Fair Play Award by Hunter Haas +óGé¼-£02. Following the presentation of awards, Bolton Award winner Terrance Embry `09 addressed the audience. The afternoon was a wonderful affirmation of the important role Hawken has played in all of our lives. Click here to access audio links from the event.
