Fall "Explore" Sessions to Begin Soon
Hawken School`s Early Childhood Library is once again offering a free four-week library/activity program called "Explore." The program, which welcomes 2-3 year olds with an adult, provides a half-hour literacy experience and is aimed at introducing young children to libraries, books, and activities associated with reading. The program is offered three times a year, with each session having a specific theme. The 2009 fall session will be held on the following dates: Wednesday, October 14 - Shapes and Colors Wednesday, October 21 - On the Move - Things That Go Wednesday, October 28 - Apples and Pumpkins Wednesday, November 4 - Playful Pets Time: 10:30 - 11:00 a.m. in the Early Childhood Library on Hawken`s Lyndhurst Campus, 5000 Clubside Rd., Lyndhurst, Ohio.
