Seventh Grade Student Medals in Piano Competitions
Alison Jin attended the 53rd annual World Piano Competition in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 3 of this year -- playing so magnificently that she was presented with a gold medal in the seventh-level Young Artist division. In addition, she received the young artist award for being the highest-marked regional contestant in levels 5-8. As if that challenge were not enough, she will be returning to Carnegie Hall on October 10 for a winner`s recital performance. This will be her second performance at Carnegie Hall! In 2007, a silver medalist ranking in level 5 of the Cincinnati World Piano Competition earned her a performance opportunity as well. Congratulations, Alison!
