Charlise Lyles `77 to Speak at City Club of Cleveland

Charlise Lyles `77, author of \"Do I Dare Disturb the Universe? From the Projects to Prep School,\" will speak about her memoir of race and education at the City Club of Cleveland on Tuesday, April 28 at 12:00 p.m. In addition to being a 1977 graduate of Hawken, Charlise is an alumna of "A Better Chance" program and a 1981 graduate of Smith College. Author and co-founding editor of Catalyst Cleveland, now Catalyst Ohio Magazine - which has received three awards from the Ohio Society for Professional Journalists and is a winner of the 2007 Clarion Award from the Association of Woman in Communication - Charlise is also a featured author for the 2009 Ohioana Book Festival, which celebrates Ohio authors` contributions to the literary arts.
