Couldn`t Make it to Alumni Reunion Weekend? You Were Missed.

jb
This year`s attendees will vouch that it was a great three days. Here`s brief recap of what went on: There were hugs. There was laughter. There were smiles. We missed yours. Bob Page `49 received the Carl N. Holmes Distinguished Alumnus Award on Friday; Doug Katz `88 and Chris Fusco `68 received the Richard W. Day Young Alumnus and the Fair Play Awards, respectively, on Saturday, a moving experience to witness former friends and classmates gather to honor their own. On Sunday, the Hawken community visited what will soon become the Sally and Bob Gries Center at University Circle. The house, a historic mansion on Magnolia Drive just steps away from the Cleveland Art Musuem, the Cleveland Institute of Art and other UC institutions, was a sight to see. Equally astounding will it be when the place is transformed. Next year, we`ll plan on seeing you. For all of what was described, it doesn`t do justice to what it really means to reconnect and reminisce about your Hawken years. Click below to access two galleries that`ll give you a glimpse of the two award ceremonies. And again, it`s just a glimpse. If you didn`t experience it firsthand this year, you`ll just have to make it a point to do so next year. Carl Holmes Award Reception and Dinner Richard Day & Fair Play Awards Luncheon
