Academic Challenge Team In Championship on WEWS June 14
Be sure to tune into WEWS` Academic Challenge on Saturday, June 14 at 8:00 p.m. and watch as Hawken`s Academic Challenge team battles Highland and Magnificat for the season championship and $10,000 in grant money from Westfield Insurance. The team - juniors Alec Lai, Samuel Milner, John Borokhovich - earned the spot to compete for the title by being among the top three scoring teams all season. Its score of 720 in an earlier match this season was the second highest of all competing schools and only 20 points shy of tying with the top scoring school.
