Art Students Bring Home Gold, Silver, Honorable Mention
Seven Upper School students were recently recognized in the Cuyahoga County Scholastic Arts Competition. Here`s a breakdown of who won what. Gold Key Portfolio: Hannah Miller `08, Lauren Vandevier `08 Gold Key: Lauren Vandevier `08, drawing; Ana Muschler `10, sculpture Silver Key: Ana Muschler `10, sculpture; Janet Katzin `09, ceramics; Charlotte Aldrich `09, printmaking Honorable Mention: Lina Seabright `10, photography; Heidi Pignolet `09, printmaking Those who won Gold Key Awards will advance to the national competition. The students` pieces were chosen from hundreds of high school and middle school entries from the entire Cuyahoga County area (both public and private schools) and will be on display in the Scholastic Art Exhibition through Saturday, February 2 in Reinberger Galleries at the Cleveland Institute of Art.
