Lower School Visiting Artist 2008

We are pleased to announce that our Visiting Artist this year is Lisa Schonberg. Lisa is a printmaker and her work has been exhibited and honored locally as well as in other states. She not only is an accomplished artist, but also a seasoned lecturer and teacher. Currently she is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Studio Art, Art Appreciation and Art Education at Notre Dame College in South Euclid. She holds a BFA in Art Education from Ohio University, and an MFA in Printmaking from Kent State University. In February, she will be working with our first, third, and fifth graders in the Art Room where she will show some of her artwork, demonstrate printmaking techniques, and introduce a printmaking project. The students will continue the project under the guidance of their Art Teachers, Mrs. Wilson and Miss Skoczen.
