Battle of the Bands

Hawken will host its first-ever Battle of the Bands on Friday, January 11, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Kennedy Auditorium on the Upper School campus. Admission is $5.00. The event is a fundraiser for the school`s summer service program, Seeds of Learning, a non profit institution founded by Hawken alum Todd Evans `50 that has been building schools and learning centers in Nicaragua and El Salvador for fifteen years. Teams of Hawken students and teachers have travelled to help in the construction of the schools in the past and will do so this coming summer. The money generated from the Battle of the Bands will go toward the expenses needed for building.
