Two teams honored
Hawken varsity football and boys soccer teams were named Teams of the Week by the Cleveland Plain Dealer on September 20, 2007. In soccer, the Hawks are 5-0-1 after beating Gilmour and Cuyaghoga Heights. Paul Burgess `08 scored two goals in each game and Avery Mainardi `09 had three goals against Cuyahoga Heights. In football, the Hawks won on Mike Hook`s 7-yard run in the second overtime against Berkshire. The final score was 20-14. Go Hawks!
