Teacher featured in area production
This is your last week to see Hawken Upper School English teacher Robert Hawkes in Lillian Groag`s autobiographical play \"The Magic Fire\" now playing at Ensemble Theatre through Sunday, September 23. Hawkes plays Otto Berg, the father of Lise Berg, Groag`s alter-ego, in the story set in early 1950s Argentina during Juan Peron`s facist reign and based on Groag`s childhood with her family who fled Austria of the 1930s and 40s under Hitler`s rule.
