Lacrosse sophomore on Sports Time Ohio network
Be sure to tune in to the Sports Time Ohio network this week. Sophomore lacrosse player Frances Cooley was interviewed at a recent game and will be featured on the network during \"High School Sports Insider\" airing Monday, April 30 at 10:30 p.m., Thursday, May 3 at 8:30 a.m. and Saturday, May 5 at 1:30 p.m. With a record of 12-1, the girls lacrosse team is now second in the state and is poised to give first place Sycamore High School from Cincinnati a run for the state title. It is the first time in years that the lacrosse team has reached this ranking. Player of the Week In other sports news, senior Stephen Johhson was named the News Herald`s Player of the Week for his performance at the Beachwood Invitational where he won the shot put, was second in the discus and earned field event MVP honors as Hawken finished second to Berea.
