Indoor Track Places at State Meet
The Hawken Indoor Track and Field Team competed in the Ohio Association of Track & Cross Country Coaches Indoor State Championship Meet on March 17 at the University of Akron. The Hawks were represented in four events in the Division II/III Meet. The Girls 4x200 Meter Relay Team of Colleen Barnes(Sr), Edith Anderson(Fr), Jen Stefancik(So) and Kelly Vogt(Sr) finished 15th. Vicki Wilson(Jr) finished 11th in the 60 Meter Hurdles. The Girls 4x800 Meter Relay Team of Peggy Seabright(Sr), Kelly Vogt, Ellen Withrow(Jr) and Melissa Petersilge(Jr) finished in 7th place. Melissa Petersilge finished in 12th place in the 800 Meter Run. Congratulations to the Hawks.
