Hawken girls swim team state champs!

For the ninth consecutive year, the Hawken girls swimming team won the Division II state championship. In all, the team has 17 titles. \"We really enjoy winning it and keeping the tradition going,\" said senior Erica Dorfman in a Plain Dealer article. \"It means a lot to everyone.\" Junior Brittany Strumbel, who was named Division II MVP, won her second straight title on Friday in the 200-yard freestyle and won the 500 freestyle on Saturday. With those two wins, she has a career total of three individual titles. The team also won all three relays with junior Jennifer Aronoff, freshman Erica Gliga, Dorfman and Strumbel in the 200 freestyle relay and Aronoff, sophomore Katlin Dagg, junior Louise Gliga and Strumbel in the 400 freestyle relay. Hawken`s point tally was 358 over second place Cincinnati Indian Hill`s 145.
