At independent schools and universities across the nation, tuition covers a majority, but not all, of each student`s education. Here at Hawken, annual tuition covers about 82 percent. To bridge the gap between revenue and expenses, the School relies on philanthropy. This pivotal year will determine Hawken`s direction for the next several years. Both Meisel and Jim Aronoff `77, the other co-chair, are helping lead the charge to boost the Annual Fund to new heights. But they`re representative of the many other parents, alumni, grandparents, friends and students that believe in the Hawken education. They know that the School prepares its students to be informed, passionate and engaged world citizens. They know what so many others do: Hawken School is one of the best in the nation.
