Help Hawken soar: give to the Annual Fund

jb
Think about everything Hawken has been to you and your family. Think about the friendships. The sense of community. The opportunity. The stellar education. The inspiration. Now, think about everything Hawken could be to future students and their families. Giving to the Annual Fund is your way of ensuring Hawken-your school, our school-remains a place that will guide future students down their roads to greatness. At independent schools and universities across the nation, tuition covers a majority, but not all, of each student`s education. Here at Hawken, annual tuition covers about 82 percent. To bridge the gap between revenue and expenses, the School relies on philanthropy. This pivotal year will determine Hawken`s direction for the next several years. And as the administration shapes that future, Annual Fund figures will largely determine whether the vision set forth will materialize. \"By funding the gap between tuition and the cost of education, giving to the annual fund allows Hawken to maintain the education and extracurricular programming that make it such an outstanding and unique experience for our children,\" said Susi Meisel `78, co-chair of 2006-2007 Annual Fund campaign. Both Meisel and Jim Aronoff `77, the other co-chair, are helping lead the charge to boost the Annual Fund to new heights. But they`re representative of the many other parents, alumni, grandparents, friends and students that believe in the Hawken education. They know that the School prepares its students to be informed, passionate and engaged world citizens. They know what so many others do: Hawken School is one of the best in the nation. If you haven`t yet given to our fund, please consider doing so by clicking here. Your contribution has the potential to do more than satisfy a fiscal goal. Each dollar will help enlighten a new generation. Stir young minds. And change the world.
