8th Grade Knowledge Master Teams Place First & Second in Ohio

Both of the Middle School`s 8th grade Knowledge Master Teams placed 1st & 2nd in the state of Ohio Middle School at the most recent Kowledge Master Open competition this past April. Along with this, both teams respectively placed 6th & 9th in world-wide competition for schools with a student population under 200. Callahan Austin Garofolo Mike Gwin Spencer Hobson Sara Huser Hannah Kerman Adrienne Krol Adajah Morgan-Bennett Charlie Marks Peter Mintun David Nelson David Parker Hannah Pittman Montreaux Rodgers The Eighth Grade Knowledge Master Open (coached by faculty member Pat Jewell) is a curriculum-based contest competition composed of 100 questions on a CD-ROM. Students compete, as a team, using a central computer in the computer lab and then submit their answers to Knowledge Master. The focus of this competition is for students to work together, as a team, in answering questions in a quick and precise manner.
