Middle School Team Ranks 3rd in Nation at National Academic Challenge Tournament
After winning at the state level in Knowledge Master, the Middle School Academic Challenge Team recently participated in the Junior National Academic League Challenge Tournament. Under the supervision of coach and teacher Pat Jewell, 15 students traveled to Washington, D.C. to compete against the best teams in the nation and came back with a 3rd place national ranking.
Congratulations to 6th graders Kush Khosla, Max Schachere, and Jack Weisman; 7th graders Shang-Shang Chen, Anna Du, Mike Holstein, and Sindhura Vallabhaneni; 8th graders Jared Berg, Russell Cohen, Arthur Erlendsson, Justin Faulhaber, and Alex Kaufman; and 9th graders Mitchell Krall, Adil Menon, and Eric Xiao (Team Captain) for their success leading up to and during the tournament.
