Lower School Teachers Initiate New Progress Report
Parents of students preschool through grade two were introduced to a new progress report during parent conferences held earlier this month.
The new format articulates individual student progress as well as goal setting supporting the developmental continuum developed by PS-2 teachers, which records and conveys growth over time.

Gaye Gronlund, consultant, author and Project Director for the national Association for the Education of Young Children, will facilitate the next steps of Hawken's continuum work.
She will also be sharing video taken in Hawken classrooms illustrating developmentally appropriate practices – footage which may ultimately appear in web-based seminars scheduled to take place this spring.
