Three Birchwood students in grades 3-4 were delighted to learn that the transformation stories they submitted in the Cricket contest earned national recognition. Maliha earned second place for her piece entitled, “My New Hair.” Johnny, who wrote “Caterpillar,” and Caroline who wrote “Wiggle, Wiggle, Caterpillar,” received honorable mention awards.
