14 Hawks Named National Merit Scholarship Finalists
Congratulations to the 14 Hawken seniors who have been named finalists in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Competition!
Hawken’s finalists from both the Upper School and the Mastery School (MSH) are seniors Matthew Chang, Andrew Farrell, Isabella Hsieh, John Joyce, Elizabeth Lee, Chloe Leng, Delicia Liao, Devesh Mohapatra, Luke Nelson, Aiden Tian, Daniel Xu, Ava Bauschatz (MSH), James Ryman (MSH), and Gabriel Swai (MSH).
The National Merit Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955. The finalists represent an elite group that makes up less than one percent of high school seniors nationally and includes the highest scoring PSAT test takers in each state.
