Senior Named Delegate to US Senate Program, Wins $10,000 Scholarship
Congratulations to Nayan Rao’17 for being named by Ohio Senators Sherrod Brown and Rob Portman as one of Ohio’s two delegates to the 55th Annual United States Senate Youth Program. Along with this honor, Nayan has received a ten thousand dollar scholarship.
Nayan joined two students from each state in Washington DC in March to meet and hear major policy addresses by President Trump, Vice President Pence, senators, cabinet members, and justices of the Supreme Court.
Nayan commented, "I would like to thank teachers Ken Clark, Julie Agar, Dr. Douglas Smith, and the history department for their support throughout this process."
