Hawk Chess Players Place in CSCL Tournament
Destynn Keuchel ’22 and Nicholas Bislich ’19 were among 137 students who participated in the Canton Scholastic Chess League tournament last Saturday.
Destynn, the youngest player in the K-12 Championship section, entered the tournament as the first seed and placed second with three wins and a loss. Nicholas, who was playing in his first rated tournament, placed seventh out of 25 players in the K-12 U1000 section with two wins, a draw, and a loss.
