Chess Players Excel
Zade Akras ’18 participated in the Akron Chess Club tournament in June earning a perfect score, winning all of his games, and receiving a cash prize for becoming clear first in the reserve section.
Zade has been working with Connor Keuchel ’17 at the Hawken Upper School Chess Club since January. Connor also coached Hudson Montessori School elementary students, who took second place in the State Elementary non-rated section in May.
