Record Number Attend Alumni Winter Luncheon

More than 200 members of the Hawken community attended the 2014 Alumni Winter Luncheon on Saturday, December 20.

Alumni Board Secretary Bobby Mallett '93 served as the master of ceremony for the program that honored the following award recipients:

Head of School D. Scott Looney gave an update of school accomplishments and made a special welcome to Peter Scott and John Tottenham, two inspiring teachers who have been leaders in Hawken's progressive curriculum. With great pride Mr. Looney announced that Hawken will be naming the new humanities wing within Stirn Hall The Peter Scott & John Tottenham Humanities Wing.

Prior to the luncheon young alumni gathered with members of the Alumni Board for a networking coffee and attendees received a copy of All The Rest from Peter Scott, who was available during the luncheon to sign copies. 

A
ttendees also had a chance to explore the easy-to-use Hawken Alumni App, and to view engaging Decade Displays highlighting Hawken's history.

The Hawken Jazz Band serenaded attendees, and Benson Anderson '14 made a special guest vocal appearance.
