Head of School Authors Influential Article on Education

"In my 28 years in education, I have never been more excited or so fearful for the future of education and the future of this world," writes Looney. "It is precisely this polarity of hope and fear that motivated me to write this article."

The thought provoking 28-page essay encompasses how our current education system evolved, what its shortcomings are, and how Hawken is positioned to lead in education reform.

Included in the Summer 2014 Hawken Review, the article has been receiving positive feedback from Hawken’s faculty, staff, parents and alumni, as well as the broader PS-12 educational community.
